More about me...

Don't get me wrong, I know you want to practice self-care, and sometimes, you do. You have the tools.

But something still seems... off. Instead of feeling rested, calm, and rejuvenated––you're overwhelmed and confused.

And it's not for lack of intention. You hear 3829 times a day how important self-care is. You've bought the face-masks and bath bombs and that latest book by the edgy but relatable poet and a matching journal to boot.

I'm here to shout from the rooftops: there's another way! You're not flawed for having a hard time figuring it out.

That's where I come in! I'm Kylie––a mental health therapist that never stops reading, learning, and thinking. Since the early 90s, I've been figuring out this being human thing. Since 2015, I've been honored to do that officially as a therapist with countless individuals in their own journey of healing + becoming.

You're on-board with this self-care thing. But...

it doesn't seem to happen.

maybe sometimes the worry that makes it hard to fall asleep, or the nagging negative thoughts that sometimes hold you back...

or, maybe you’ve been in your major, or job, or career just long enough to realize it’s not quite what you thought it was. and you’re trying not to panic...

maybe you’re restless for a change, but where do you even start?

whether it's
learning how to care for yourself more meaningfully,
figuring out your strengths and dreams,
or just plain ol' knowing and loving yourself better,

there's room for you here.

She is doing such important, meaningful work, and I truly appreciate it.

I listened to the self care workshop as I got ready for work and school this morning. Today I found myself asking what I needed, and checking in with myself much more than usual. I think her workshop and words of wisdom will stay with me and keep me more mindful of self care practices (and the things that usually keep me from self care).

Michelle Sargenti

Although I'm much older than her, she shares a wisdom that speaks to me at this time in my life.

I believe she cares about people, comes across as down to earth & relatable.
